Clean Out The Pollution From Your Tank!

In your business, your life, sometimes at your company or on your team – you need to clean out the pollution to begin to achieve the results you are capable of.  This is especially true if you are trying to become a motivational speaker, take your speaking business to the next level, or get yourself out of a rut.

What pollution are you going to clean?  Leave a comment.

James – thank you so much for this video message and it is SO true! What was the song played on the TV Hit Show “The Jeffersons?” I’m movin’ on up… That’s me, movin’ on up and staying away from toxic situations.

  2. Jim Connolly says:

    Great post James!
It’s a great reminder for me to keep my “environment” clear of people or things that keep me from accomplishing my goals!

  3. Slawek says:

It’s funny because as parents we understand this concept almost instinctively. When are children are young, we closely monitor who they choose as friends and we encourage their friendship with positive influences and we try to keep them away from the “bad kids.” Is it that adults forget this or do they think they are immune to these outside forces.
I spent a couple years working with young men who were mandated by the courts to serve the remainder of their sentence in a drug rehab facility. What I observed was those who broke away from their old friends had a higher rate of success than those who chose to go back to their old friends.
I agree that one of the most important and powerful ways to make a change in business or life in general is to cleanse and take control of one’s environment.

  4. Big Money Speaker says:

You are the product of those you hang around! Want to move up, start associating with people that are where you want to be. This does not always mean getting new friends…but who you consult and work with will make a huge impact on your level of success.

  5. Great tip, James – time to get rid of the ’stinkin thinkin’ that has held me back. Love the reference to ‘who your friends are’ – there are some people I need to START associating with, and some I need to limit my exposure to…thanks for the nudge!

James great video and great principles. Jim Rohn is a huge inspiration and I love to see and hear that his teachings are rippling on through time.
We are all a product of our decisions and our environment, keep up the great work and let me know if you’re coming to Australia any time soon.
    Regards and Success!

Thanks James! You always hit it on the head! So when we gonna hang out?

  8. Clara Hinton says:

James, Thank you! I’ve been in the process of treating the fish tank, and I have to share with you that it’s working! Your words in this brief, but powerful video, came alive and you’ve given me the added motivation needed to continue “treating the tank”!

What you are saying is so true , that’s why we get into a rut. But some times it’s the hardest thing to do is clean your environment. Once we realized it’s the only way then we will do it .
    THANK YOU.
